Registration and refund policies for our classes

We are very happy to sign you up for any of our classes on a first come first served basis.
PLEASE pay in full when registering to guarantee your space in the class and to purchase materials. Your Confirmation will be by phone. or e-mail. As classes fill up, sign-ups who have not yet paid will be dropped from the list to make room for confirmed students. Payments are refundable up to one week prior to class. Note A $15.00 non-refundable fee will be retained for administrative purposes. We will make no refunds after the first day of class.
Please note, Class may be canceled if a minimum number of students ( 6 ) is not met and all money will be refunded.

2- Payments can be made in person by visiting the herb farm.
3- Payment by check mailing your name, address, phone number, and title of class when registering.
-Payments are refundable up to one week prior to class. A $15.00 non-refundable fee will be retained for instructor preparation.

You will learn how to safely use lye and the different techniques that will generate beautiful effects. The emphasis is on natural ingredients and herbs. This is a hands on workshop and you should bring plastic gloves and protective eye covering or safety glasses. Please bring 4 containers . These should be plastic, disposable, about 5 ounces. "Cooking With Herbs" - Saturday April 5, 2014 Saturday Time 10:00 AM-2:00 PM

Do you wonder how to use the fresh herbs in your garden or the herbal vinegars you made?After this workshop you should have no doubts how to make cooking with herbs fun and easy. This is a hands on workshop and you will be on a team that does a portion of the cooking. Then we will sit down and enjoy dining on the fruits of our labor and sip herbal infused wines. "Herb Farm 31th Annual Birthday Festival Celebration" May 10, 2014 Saturday time 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Come out to our yearly herb festival the Saturday before mothers day visiting our gardens. We will have many vendors visiting with herb popsicles ,
butterfly plants, homemade herb snacks , herbal crafts, handmade soaps, birdhouses, medicinal herbalists, garden art and pottery. We have many
varieties of naturally grown culinary herbs, and medicinal plants. Hummingbird and butterfly plants , herbal lunch , teas, and live band

"Building Hypertufa Planters" May 18, 2014 Sunday Time 10:00AM -2:00 PM

Learn to make these funky fantastic containers! Wear your old clothes. This is a dirty class, held outdoors "mud pie making for grownups." Bring an open mind, ready to fill with creative ideas! ou'll learn the recipe and “rules”, and take home completed works of art, crafting four planters of varying sizes and shapes. All supplies are included, along with molds to keep and material to add color to your masterpieces. All you bring is a bagged lunch. We'll drink a toast to art and creativity before reluctantly ending our day!

Children's Nature Journaling Workshop
Discover how to be a super observer of your world through nature journaling! In this workshop for children ages 6-12 we will make nature journals and explore how to be an observer, just like artists and scientists, by using all our senses. We'll enjoy stories and songs and then head out into Maggie's Herb Farm to explore and draw all the unique flowers, insects, and garden hummingbirds, butterflies, lizards, frogs, and creatures to be found! Children will make and take journals, engage in sensory observation activities, receive drawing instruction, and connect to their natural world through basic garden botany and zoology. Instructor, Kelly Johnson is an artist, author, and garden guide through her company and award winning book Wings, Worms, and Wonder.
